MAC Paint Pot: Indianwood

MAC Paint Pot in Indianwood

The MAC website describes it as “A highly pigmented eye colour that goes on creamy but dries to an intense, vibrant finish. Long-wearing, colourfast. Creates seamless coverage without weight or caking. Blends smoothly over lids. Cream based, can be mixed with MAC shadows and liners”

Swatch indoors with outdoor lighting

The colour is a highly pigmented, crease resistant, bright bronze-gold with a frost finish, Indianwood is part of the permanent collection, so it will be available for a long time. Each paint pot, even with daily use (it has been my everyday eyeshadow for months) seems to never end. I’m positive that it will last past its expiry date. Also, I have showered with it on, without primer and it somehow survived! At $20.00 CAD, you get 5g/0.17 fl.oz which is a LOT of product. If you have oily eyelids, I recommend an eyeshadow primer, otherwise this makes a great eyeshadow or eyeshadow base. It is perfect for travel since it it small and can be applied with fingers or with a brush (MAC 217 or any other full eyeshadow brush should work). If you like cream eyeshadows, this is a must-have product.

  1. I don’t think there’s anything better than a paint pot. Painterly (matte nude) is the perfect perfect base for me, I love it so much!!
